THE PEACE TRAIN GOES TO WASHINGTON

Photo credit by Liz DiazSince 2003, members of The World Dreams Peace Bridge have conducted Peace Train workshops around the world. In Germany, Turkey, Iraq, the United States, Australia and South Korea, children have been asked the simple question, "If you could put peace on a train and send it off to children in a country at war, what would it look like?" The beautiful art work resulting from the Peace Train Project has been displayed at conferences and festivals in many countries. A donor in San Francisco laminated dozens of Peace Train place mats, which have been sold to raise funds for the Aid for Traumatized Children Project of the Peace Bridge, funds going to aid the children of Iraq.

Now, in honor of his dream of the Peace Train, Jeremy Seligson, with the help of his thirteen-year-old daughter, Eloisa, will lead a Peace Train Workshop at the World Children's Festival on June 25.

Jeremy SeligsonFred Jeremy Seligson has been teaching at universities in South Korea for twenty years.
